BRAVE IN - Return to Productivity by Piraeus Bank and ELEPAP: Registration for the first cycle of the programme continues
The pioneering BRAVE IN - Return to Productivity programme is aimed at young people aged 18 to 35 who have suffered brain injury and wish to return to the labour market.
BRAVE IN - Return to Productivity is implemented as part of Piraeus Bank’s EQUALL programme in strategic partnership with the Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (ELEPAP).
The main objective of the programme is the empowerment, vocational training and rehabilitation of young people after brain injury, as well as cooperation with employers so that they effectively adapt in the workplace. It is a programme that combines Holistic Neuropsychological Intervention with Vocational Counselling and support to participants for work adaptation, in collaboration with the employer.
The total duration of the programme is 6 months; it is addressed to young people living in Attica and is implemented by the specialised Neuropsychology and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit of ELEPAP in Athens. Participation in the BRAVE IN - Return to Productivity programme is free of charge. Those interested can register at www.bravein.gr

ELEPAP, the Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons, is the first charitable, non-profit association in Greece, which since its foundation in 1937, has offered rehabilitation services to more than 110,000 children with disabilities, through its 6 Centres in Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Chania, Volos, and Agrinio. Every day it welcomes 1,100 infants, children and adults with disabilities and offers them treatment programmes, education, and medical monitoring. Furthermore, it provides support and counselling services to their families. It stands by the children, and helps them to develop their potential in order to achieve social and school integration in formal education. Remarkably, 50-60% of children succeed.
