If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

Digital Autonomy 60+

The "Digital Autonomy 60+" programme by Piraeus, implemented within the framework of its Corporate Responsibility EQUALL, has been designed to educate and strengthen the digital literacy of people aged 60+, contributing to the improvement of:

  • the security of their transactions
  • their basic financial management
  • their everyday life

Through practical training, participants acquire the necessary skills to use technology with greater confidence, independence and security in their personal and social lives.

What the programme includes
The programme consists of two cycles annually:
The first cycle, completed in June 2026, included two groups. One group participated in a hybrid learning format (the first session was held in person, with the remaining sessions delivered online), while the second group attended entirely online, with participants aged 60+ from all over Greece.

The second cycle opened on October 5, 2026 and consists of four groups. It is delivered entirely online for participants aged 60+ from all over Greece.

The programme lasts 2.5 months, and each group completes 20 hours of training.
 
The training covers three main modules:
1. Digital Literacy & Communication
Familiarisation with the use of smartphones, tablets or computers, as well as basic digital applications (such as email and communication apps), helping participants meet everyday needs and stay connected with family and friends.

2. Digital Safety & Online Transactions
Learning how to identify and avoid digital scams, conduct secure online payments and e-banking transactions, and use key digital public services such as gov.gr.

3. Basic Financial Literacy
Understanding fundamental concepts of income and expense management, saving, and support in making simple financial decisions in everyday life.
 

Participation Requirements

Participants in the Digital Autonomy 60+ programme must meet the following criteria:

What is the "Digital Autonomy 60+" programme?

"Digital Autonomy 60+" is a free training programme designed to strengthen the digital literacy of people aged 60 and over. Developed within the framework Piraeus’ Corporate Responsibility EQUALL, it provides participants with the knowledge and confidence required to use digital tools safely and independently, without anxiety or reliance on others.

What does the programme include?

The programme includes 20 hours of training per group, delivered through 10 weekly sessions and offered online to participants from across Greece. The curriculum covers three key modules:

  • Digital Literacy & Communication
  • Digital Safety & Online Transactions
  • Financial Literacy

Who can take part in the programme?

The programme is aimed at individuals aged 60 and over from across Greece who wish to strengthen their digital independence and become more familiar with modern technologies.

Is participation free of charge?

Yes, participation in the Digital Autonomy 60+ programme is free of charge.

Who delivers the programme?

"Digital Autonomy 60+" is an initiative of Piraeus, implemented as part of its Corporate Responsibility EQUALL for Generation 60+, and is delivered in strategic partnership with 100mentors and the non-profit organisation Bizrupt.

How long does the programme last?

The programme lasts 2.5 months. Participants will be informed of the exact training schedule before the beginning of the programme.

How will the programme be delivered?

The programme consists of two annual cycles. The second cycle includes four groups and will be delivered entirely online.

Do I need any special equipment to attend?

For the online sessions, you will need a smart device. This can be a smartphone, tablet, desktop computer or laptop, together with internet access, so that you can attend the training from your chosen location.

Do I need previous technology experience?

No previous experience is required. The programme offers practical training starting with the basics of using smartphones, tablets and computers, helping participants use technology confidently and independently.

Do I need to prepare before joining the programme?

No, no preparation is required before participating in the programme.

What happens after I submit my application?

Once you have submitted your online application (from 5 October at 12:00 p.m. until 19 October at 12:00 p.m.), you will be invited to a short interview for assessment and confirmation of participation. Final selections will be announced in good time before classes begin on 9 November 2026.
