For the vocational training and integration of refugee women into the labour market.
Refugee Women Academy
Refugee Women Academy is an action for the vocational training of refugee women and their integration into the labour market. The programme is the result of Piraeus’s cooperation with UNHCR in Greece, sealed with a Memorandum of Understanding signed on 20 April 2023. The aim is to assist vulnerable social groups by creating programmes that support the integration and well-being of refugees in Greece.
To this end, the two parties announced their first joint action with the launch of the Refugee Women Academy programme. The action is targeted at refugee women and offers specialized knowledge and practical skills that will help them to re-establish themselves professionally in the booming tourism industry and integrate into society.
Participation requirements
