Equall Hoops

Piraeus and the Eurohoops Organization join forces for the special EQUALL Hoops initiative for children and young people on the autism spectrum. The inclusive basketball academy EQUALL Hoops continues its activities for the third year in Athens and for the second year in Volos. This year, it also launched in Thessaloniki for the first time. At EQUALL Hoops, boys and girls aged 12 to 22 are given the opportunity to participate in free Special Basketball Training sessions, specifically designed to meet their needs. These sessions are held at the Eurohoops Academy facilities at Leonteios School of Athens and other affiliated locations.

EQUALL Hoops aims to enhance access to team sports for neurodivergent youth and foster conditions for social inclusion, beginning with sports.

Participation requirements

Boys and girls on the autism spectrum are welcome to participate in the EQUALL Hoops action:
