With contactless card use, you can complete all available transactions, except PIN change and card activation.

• Personal access codes

Access to the ATM is granted exclusively through your Personal Security Code (PIN), which only you know.

• PIN deactivation

If you enter your Personal Security Code (PIN) incorrectly three times at the ATM, the system automatically deactivates it.

• Retention of a forgotten card and cash

If you forget your card or your cash at the ATM, the machine retrieves and retains them internally after a short period of time.

• Transaction confidentiality & personal data protection

All information transmitted to Piraeus Bank through ATMs is confidential. Your personal and banking data are transferred in encrypted form and stored on a secure central server.

Piraeus has adopted a range of functionalities and technologies to support customers with visual impairments when using ATMs:

Voice-assistance functionality has been installed across a large part of the ATM network, enabling customers with visual impairments to perform transactions.

• Cash withdrawal with voice guidance

By plugging in headphones at the ATM, the customer selects the Help button (bottom-right grey key) and follows the spoken instructions to withdraw cash.

• PIN change with voice guidance

By plugging in headphones at the ATM, the customer selects the Help button (bottom-right grey key) and follows the spoken instructions to change the PIN.

• Braille markings on the machine

Helping customers identify and use the ATMs more easily.

At Piraeus ATMs you can be served even if you hold cards issued by other domestic or international banks, provided they bear the logos of the supported card schemes: DIAS, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus, American Express, Diners Club, UnionPay, VISA Electron, VISA, Plus, V Pay, Discover.
