How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

How do I get a Piraeus e-loan?

In 3 simple steps

  • Complete the registration of the application
3. Loan disbursement

With the IRIS payments service, you can instantly pay your expenses and other obligations (rent, utilities, etc.) or receive payments from your friends, family and associates via a mobile phone number.


You can also pay professionals for services provided quickly and easily, using their tax identification number TIN, mobile phone number, or simply by scanning their IRIS payments QR.

How can I register for the IRIS payments service?

You can register for personal use, by using your mobile phone number and selecting the bank account to which you wish to receive payments:

  • Through the Piraeus app, from Hub> Services> IRIS payments - Service Management
  • Through Piraeus e-banking, from PURCHASES & APPLICATIONS > IRIS Payments with mobile or TIN* - Administration

*Registration using a tax identification number  is available to freelancer professionals and sole proprietorships.

How much money can I send?

Registration for personal use
As an individual you can send daily via the Piraeus app:
  • up to €1.000 for personal payments with monthly limit up to €5.000, including EuroPA payments and
  • up to €1.000 for professional payments
    regardless of the number of transactions.
     

How much money can I receive?

  • Registration for personal use
  • As an individual you can receive up to €1.000 per day for your personal collections with monthly limit up to €5.000, regardless of the number of transactions, including EuroPA payments.

     

    To whom and from whom can I send and/or receive money via IRIS payments service?

    As an individual you can send and/or receive money to/from registered users of the IRIS payments service within Greece. Additionally, through the service’s interoperability with EuroPA (European Payments Alliance), you can send and/or receive money to/from registered users, using a mobile phone number, to/from SEPA countries participating in the EuroPA network.

    Who participates in the IRIS payments service?

    The service is available between the participants in Greece: National Bank - Eurobank - Alpha Bank - Optima bank - Epirus Bank - Vivabank - Thessaly Cooperative Bank - CrediaBank - Snappi Bank - Chania Cooperative Bank - Karditsa Cooperative Bank, Tora Wallet.
