Software development kit technologies (SDKs) for analysis, targeting, and advertising are software tools, with functionality similar to cookies, used to store and/or gain access to information stored in the device used by users when they access the application.
Analysis, targeting, and advertising technologies (SDKs) are software tools used to store and/or gain access to information stored in the device used by users when they access the application.
These technologies do not grant direct access to the files of the user’s device, nor do they cause harm to it, and they do not directly store personal information (although they may collect identifiers that constitute personal data).
We use our own technologies and third-party technologies (SDKs) to improve our services and your online experience according to your preferences, to facilitate usage for our users, to detect any application problems that require improvement.
Furthermore, we use these technologies to analyze the use of the application and to provide you with content and advertisements that match your interests.
The table below provides you with more information on the individual technologies used and the services we may offer you. It is pointed out that the deletion, blocking, discarding, and disabling of certain categories of analysis and advertising technologies may hinder the provision of some services and/or information through our application.
Necessary application functions
These necessary application functions allow users to navigate an application and to use the various options or services found, such as reviewing visitor traffic and data communication, determining the session period, accessing restricted sections, monitoring the details of an order, carrying out the purchase procedure related to an order, registering or applying for a service, using security features while navigating the application or storing contents in order to distribute videos or sound files.

Targeting and advertising technologies (Advertising SDKs)
These technologies collect information about the use of the application and can link it to your device's advertising identifier (advertising ID), so that they can be used jointly with the partners of Piraeus Bank:
- Send/show advertisements and offers in relation to the users’ online interests and preferences
- Measure the effectiveness of Piraeus Bank advertising activities
- Measure the performance of and reward external staff
- Limit the frequency of advertisements shown
In order to show advertisements via the Google's network, the non-deactivation of analytics SDKs is necessary. In case analytics SDKs are deactivated, no information will be collected and you may not participate in any targeting list for remarketing advertisements. Respectively, if you keep the analytics SDKs enabled and you do not deactivate the advertising SDKs, although Google Analytics will collect information regarding your use of the app, you will not be included in remarketing lists and therefore will not be able to see remarketing advertisements.
Google Analytics tracking cannot work retrospectively. This means that if you start using the app, after having enabled the targeting and advertising SDKs, you may participate in the advertising groups according to your visits, for the period of time they are enabled. When you choose to disable them, no more information will be collected from the app and therefore no advertisement will be shown again. Their disabling will take effect from the moment you disable them and afterwards. This means that for some time you will still see advertisements, which however will be related to the period when these targeting and advertising SDKs were still enabled, and in this context the advertisements are shown based on information which was collected then.| Targeting cookies | |

Usage analysis technologies (Analytics SDKs)
These are usage analysis technologies (analytics SDKs) provided by Google Inc. These SDKs allow the respective person in charge to monitor and analyse the behaviour of the app users, whenever they open the application. The information collected through these types of SDKs is used to measure the application activity, and to process the users’ profiles for said application, in order to improve it based on the analysis of user data.
Usage analysis technologies may be anonymous; however, even if they collect identifiers (such as app or device IDs), they are used for the purpose of measuring and improving the user experience. These SDKs may also be used to offer a desirable and personalized advertising experience to each user.
If a user deactivates the usage analysis technologies, every event in Google Analytics is blocked and therefore no information will be collected regarding any further actions of the user in the app.
The deactivation of usage analysis technologies, even if the advertising SDKs were accepted, means that the user will be unable to receive advertisements through the Google Network, since advertisements are always linked to usage analysis technologies.
