How do I get a virtual card?
- You can issue the card via Piraeus e-banking or Piraeus app without having to visit a bank branch.
Prerequisites:
• To obtain the virtual debit card, you must have a bank account and
• be a registered user of Piraeus e-banking or Piraeus app.

If you are a Piraeus Bank customer, it is possible that the identification documents you have submitted to us are incomplete or outdated. In this case, you will have to provide us with the necessary documents at any Piraeus Bank branch in order to update them, or you can update them digitally via Piraeus e-banking/Piraeus app and Gov.gr.
How can I set/change my PIN via Piraeus e-banking & Piraeus app?
- You can set or change your card PIN electronically, instantly and securely. After logging into Piraeus e-banking/Piraeus app, select the debit card on which you want to set a new PIN. Once you have set your card PIN, you will be able to make your transactions at ATMs in Greece or abroad using contactless technology.
How can I convert a transaction I made with my debit card via Piraeus e-banking & Piraeus app into installments?
From the menu select Cards > Debit Cards > select the card you want > Convert to Installments. From the available transactions:
- you select the one you want to convert into installments and the number of installments
- you are informed about the conversion cost and the pre-contractual information
- you accept the terms and follow the confirmation and completion steps
- you are then informed immediately of the outcome of your application
How can I manage my debit card via Piraeus e-banking & Piraeus app?
- From the menu Cards > Debit Cards > select the card you wish to use and then from the Settings > Card Usage Management. You can manage ATM withdrawals, online purchases, contactless purchases at POS in Greece and abroad. In addition, from the Edit card limits section you can change the daily limit for purchases and withdrawals of your card.
How can I activate my card?
You can activate a Virtual Debit Card via e-banking (only if the card has been issued as a renewal) via:
- Piraeus e-banking select: Cards > My Debit Cards and select the card you want to activate
- Piraeus app select the debit card you want to activate from the section of Cards
Then proceed to strong customer authentication (SCA) to complete the procedure.
How can I collect expenses through electronic means of payment?
- You can collect expenses by using Piraeus Bank credit, debit and prepaid cards as well as by making electronic payments through Piraeus e-banking, Piraeus app and Piraeus phone banking.
