Following the changes in the institutional framework regarding the payment of allowances, aids, and benefits of the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and the Organization of Welfare Benefits and Social Solidarity (OPEKA), from 10/03/2025, the following changes will apply to the terms of use of your Piraeus Prepaid Visa KEA card:
- The prepaid card you have in your possession will henceforth function as a Social Benefits Card, based on the provisions of the legislation in force. It will be credited with the Social Solidarity Income, in accordance with the procedures and conditions imposed by the relevant institutional framework.
- Cash withdrawal will be possible, up to 50% of the amount of each benefit.
- It will not be possible for the holder to recharge with his own funds.
- There will be restrictions on the use of the prepaid card in certain merchant categories (gambling and purchase of weapons).
- The card can be used exclusively in Greece and in countries within the European Union.
- It will not support a refund on the value of the transaction at AVIN & CYCLON service stations.
- With the implementation of the above changes, new Terms and Conditions of Use (available only in Greek) of your prepaid card will apply.
Please note that if you are a beneficiary of another benefit of DYPA or OPEKA (in accordance with the provisions of the legislation) and you have chosen Piraeus Bank for its payment, it will be credited to the Prepaid Visa KEA card you already have in your possession.
