Currency reporting rates for card transactions

The conversion of foreign currency transactions into Euro (€), of Piraeus Bank’s Visa cards (Credit, Debit, Prepaid), is made according to Bank’s reference rates, which are included in the posted Price Bulletins. The conversion is made on the basis of the reference rate as valid on the approval date of the transaction. For transactions carried out on weekends and banking holidays, the Price Bulletin published on the previous business day, shall apply. For currencies not available in Price Bulletin, their conversion is carried out according to Visa Organization reference rates. Please consult the exchange rates on the Visa Organization website, which has an electronic conversion mechanism available. The transaction amount is burdened with currency conversion fees, as defined in the Bank’s Pricing Policy (available only in Greek)
