How do I install the Piraeus app?

Download the Piraeus app from App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) or App Gallery (Huawei) by typing Piraeus app and click Get (iOS) or Install (Android) or Install (Huawei).

I forgot / blocked my Piraeus e-banking password

If you have activated the SMS extraPIN feature and you know your username but don't remember your password, you can reissue your password by starting the process from here.

In any case, password reissuance continues to be provided through the bank's branch network.

Piraeus Bank's Exclusive Partnership with Visa

Piraeus Bank, consistently aiming to upgrade the services that offers to its customers, has entered into a new, exclusive partnership with Visa. In this context, all Mastercard® branded cards are gradually being replaced by cards bearing the Visa brand.

Piraeus Business Visa

Are there any changes from the replacement of my card?

Your new Visa credit card has a different card number and retains the same features and functionality as your old Mastercard credit card (e.g. pin code, credit limit, interest rate etc.).

Do I have to take any action after receiving Visa credit card or is it immediately functional?

For security reasons, your new card is not activated and you should proceed to activate it according to the instructions on the cover letter where the card has been affixed. Upon activation of your new Visa credit card, your old Mastercard credit card will be automatically deactivated.

You can activate your card via:

  • Piraeus e-banking / Piraeus app
  • Piraeus ATM 
  • Call at +30 210 3898989

Attention. Activation of your new business credit Visa card entails the automatic cancellation of your corresponding corporate Mastercard business credit card as well as any other additional business Mastercard credit cards of your company. 
To ensure the uninterrupted use of all business credit cards of the company, all additional members must activate their new business credit Visa card immediately upon receipt of it.

 

Where do I find the transactions made with my Mastercard card, after I have activated my new Visa card?

You will be able to view the transactions made with your Mastercard card, via your Piraeus e-banking in the list of transactions of your new Visa card, by selecting the date that you are interested in, as well as in the corresponding statement. 

After the activation of the Visa card, your credit card statement will be issued for your Visa credit card.

 

Will the card PIN code change?

No, the PIN code remains the same as the one you had on your Mastercard credit card.

Some standing orders/recurring payments were made automatically through my old card. Will they still be valid?

Your card number has changed, therefore you will need to inform the respective companies about the change of your card number and/or expiry date, in order to connect your standing orders / recurring payments with your new Visa credit card.

Will I see the new card in my wallet?

You will need to add your new Visa credit card in your digital wallets.

I had requested not to execute contactless transactions with my old card. Does the same apply to my new card?

Your new card retains the same features and functionality of your existing card. In this case, the usage restriction you had set on your old card is also transferred to your new card.

Does the credit limit on the new Visa credit card remain the same as the old Mastercard credit card?

Yes, it remains the same.

What happens about my credit card available balance?

Upon activation of your new Visa credit card, any available balance will be automatically transferred.

What about installment transactions?

If you have made installment transactions with your Mastercard credit card, upon activation of the Visa credit card, the remaining installments will continue under your new Visa credit card.

What happens about my credit card current balance?

Upon activation of Visa credit cards, any current balance will be transferred to a new Visa account number in the company’s data.
Your monthly credit card statement will now be issued to company’s new Visa card number and will display the transactions and the card number with which they were made. 
 

Does the automatic payment order I had set on my old Mastercard credit card also apply to the new Visa credit card account?

Yes, the automatic payment order of your additional credit cards remains in effect via Piraeus deposit business account.

What will happen with the additional Mastercard credit cards?

All new Visa cards will be mailed to the registered business address.

Attention. The activation of any additional business credit card causes the automatic cancellation of any other additional business credit Mastercard card and each cardholder must activate his/her own Visa card.

 

Is there a deadline for the Visa card activation or/and Mastercard card cancellation?

The Visa card activation must be done immediately upon its receipt and entails the automatic cancellation of the corresponding business Mastercard card of all company holders.
Otherwise, the Mastercard credit card will be automatically canceled on a specific date which is communicated in the Visa credit cards cover letter. 
After this date, your Mastercard card will not be able to be used for any transaction and the account will continue to be issued in the company’s name with the existing Mastercard number.
 

Piraeus Business Credit

Are there any changes from the replacement of my card?

Your new Visa credit card has a different card number and retains the same features and functionality as your old Mastercard credit card (e.g. pin code, credit limit, interest rate etc.).

Why haven't I received the new Visa card in replacement of the Mastercard credit card?

The replacement of Mastercard credit cards with Visa credit cards will be done in waves. When your new Visa card is issued, you will see it through Piraeus e-banking and in a few days you will receive it.

Does the credit limit on the new Visa credit card remain the same as the old Mastercard credit card?

What happens about my credit card current balance and available balance?

Upon activation of your new Visa credit card, any current balance, available balance, credit limit, transaction history etc of your Mastercard credit card will be transferred to your new Visa credit card and the Mastercard credit card will be cancelled. After the activation of the Visa card, the copy of monthly statements will be issued under the Visa card number and the transactions and the card number with which they were carried out will be displayed in detail.
Please note that, regardless of the Visa card activation, your Mastercard credit card will be automatically canceled on a specific date which is communicated in the Visa credit cards cover letter. After this date, your Mastercard credit card will not be able to be used for any transaction. If the new Visa card is not activated, any current balance will remain on the Mastercard credit card, and you can pay off in the same way you have been paying until today. If you wish to use your new Visa card, you will need to activate it and then, your balance, credit limit, transaction history etc will be transferred from the Mastercard credit card to the new Visa credit card.

What about installment transactions?

If you have made installment transactions with your Mastercard credit card, upon activation of the Visa credit card, the remaining installments will continue under your new Visa credit card.

Does the automatic payment order I had set on my old Mastercard credit card also apply to the new Visa credit card?

Yes, the automatic payment order of your credit card from your Piraeus deposit account remains in effect.

What will happen on the yellows I have collected from the use of my Mastercard card?

The yellows that you have already earn with your Mastercard remain in the ones you have earn for your entire banking relationship with your Piraeus products and services. If you have register in Yellow Rewards Program, your new Visa card will give you the opportunity to continue earning yellows.

Business Prepaid Visa

I am the cardholder and I received the message for the issuance in Visa, do I have to do it?

If you have an open Business Prepaid Mastercard, you will need to issue a new Business Prepaid card via Piraeus Business e-banking. The new card will be Visa, it will replace Mastercard, and any available balance will be automatically transferred to it.

When will the new Business Prepaid Visa card be available?

Piraeus Bank is gradually replacing business Mastercard® cards to Visa. In this context, a new Business Prepaid Visa card is designed to replace the current Mastercard card which will cover all your business needs. The new card will be available via Piraeus Business e-banking at 26/5/2025.
Your Business Prepaid Mastercard card will be deactivated at 26/6/2025 and you won’t be able to make any transactions.

Do I have to take any action for my Business Prepaid Mastercard card’s replacement to Business Prepaid Visa?

Yes, you have to replace your old Business Prepaid Mastercard card via Piraeus Business e-banking in order to get, free of charge, a new Business Prepaid Visa card. Any available balance will be automatically transferred to your new card. The new card will be available via Piraeus Business e-banking at 26/5/2025. If you don’t replace your card, it will be automatically cancelled at 26/6/2025.

What changes with my Business Prepaid card’s replacement?

Your new Visa card carries a different card number and CVV2 and retains the same features and functionality as your old Mastercard card. Through Piraeus e-baking and Piraeus app you can see your card info (card number, expiration date, CVV2) via View Card Info functionality for e-commerce purchases or register your card in digital wallets for transactions at physical stores.
 

What will happen if I don’t issue a new card, and my old one is cancelled by the bank? Can I issue then a new Business Prepaid Visa card?

After 26/6/2025, when your Business Prepaid Mastercard card will be cancelled by the bank, you can issue free of charge a new Business Prepaid Visa card via Piraeus Business e-banking. Any available balance remaining to your previous Business Prepaid Mastercard card will be transferred automatically to the new Visa one.

Will I see the new card in my digital wallet?

Your card number will change, so you will need to re-register your new Business Prepaid Visa card in the digital wallets.

Some standing orders/recurring payments were made automatically through my old card. Will they still be valid, or do I need to do something?

Your card number will change, so you will need to re-register your card in order to reconnect your standing orders / recurring payments to your new Business Prepaid Visa card.

What will happen to the available balance I had on my old card if it will be automatically cancelled?

If you don’t reissue you card until 26/6/2025, your previous card will be cancelled by the bank on that date. Any available balance in your previous card, can be received by requesting it at any Piraeus Bank branch. Soon, you will get informed by the bank’s communication channels about the availability of the new Business Prepaid Visa via Piraeus Business e-banking.
 

What can I do if I don’t wish to replace my Business Prepaid Mastercard card with Visa?

In case you do not wish to continue enjoying the benefits of your card, you can cancel your Business Prepaid Mastercard, and any available balance can be received by unloading it to your account before cancelling your card. If you don’t make any action on your own, the bank will cancel your card at 26/6/2025 and any available balance in your previous card can be received by requesting it in any Piraeus Bank branch.
