How you benefit

Agricultural Savings Account helps you manage the payments from the SPS and other EU subsidies and your earnings, making your transactions with your business partners easier. Moreover, it allows you to make all your payments, as there are no restrictions in the usage of the account. There is no limit on the amount you can deposit or withdraw and there is no need to maintain a minimum balance at any time.

Interest rates

Agricultural Savings Account, pays interest on every cent that you deposit. Tiered interest rate applies, as follows.

Interest is paid semi-annually, on 30 June and 31 December.

Interest rates are gross, annualized and may change according to the Piraeus Bank pricing policy. Tax rate of 15% applies. Tax is deducted and paid over to the Greek State.

Account’s Balance/Transactions Inquiry

Your account’s statement is available in digital form (e-statement) through winbank.

Additionally, you can be real-time informed about your account’s balance and the most recent transactions, 24/7:

  • by phone, through winbank Phone Banking service
  • at any Piraeus Bank ATM using your debit card
  • via winbank web banking and winbank mobile app
  • via email or SMS (with charge), with winbank alerts

Cards

Debit card “Piraeus Visa/MasterCard Debit”

Use your debit card for all your transactions, without charge of interest:

  • Shop at any store displaying the Visa/MasterCard logo in Greece or abroad and via internet
  • Withdraw cash and make bank transactions at Piraeus Bank ATM, DIAS ATM and Visa/MasterCard ATM.
You may simply alter your debit card’s daily transaction limit at any Piraeus Bank branch or through winbank.



Piraeus Visa or MasterCard credit card

No annual fee for the first year or for every next year depending on your annual transactions.

Although it is not obligatory to set an automatic payment of your card to your account, it is highly recommended to do so.
