“Piraeus Bank S.A.” (“Piraeus Bank”), subsidiary of “Piraeus Financial Holdings S.A.”, announces the following management changes:
Piraeus Bank’s General Managers Messrs Panagiotis Tsoukatos, Chief Audit Executive, and Argiri Kasapaki, Group Compliance Officer, are taking on new roles in the organization. During their tenure, they played a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining an adequate and effective internal control and compliance system for the Group.
Taking into consideration the abovementioned management changes, the Board of Directors of Piraeus Bank on its meeting held on 23.01.2025, proceeded to:
a) the appointment of Mr. Andreas Anastasiou as new Chief Audit Executive with effective date 03.02.2025 and
b) the appointment of Mr. Panagiotis Tsoukatos as new Group Compliance Officer with effective date 17.02.2025.
Mr. Anastasiou has extensive professional experience in various positions and organizations, with a particular focus on internal audit and risk management. With a strong presence in the banking sector, he has held leadership roles abroad in international companies in London, such as at International Exchange (ICE), Citigroup, Barclays Bank PLC and Banco Santander. He holds a PhD in Applied Econometrics - Quantitative Analysis, a MSc in Economics and Marketing from Reading University in the United Kingdom, as well as a Degree in Chemistry from the University of Patra in Greece.
Ms. Argiri Kasapaki will continue her valuable contribution to the Group, as a Management Advisor.
