Piraeus Bank, in collaboration with "Alkyon S.A.", has initiated a new Contract Farming programme intended for table grapes growers in the Prefecture of Kavala.
The funding proposal for grapes contract farming is essentially intended to help rationalise production organisation and financially support the entire production process, from the producer to product processing and selling by the said company.
The facilities of "Alkyon S.A." are located in the Industrial Area of Kavala and is active in grape, cherry and kiwi trading.
"Alkyon S.A." has a state-of-the-art plant that ensures optimum preservation conditions for its products and works with a large and reliable fleet of refrigerator trucks for their safe transport to end recipients.
Its long truck record in fruit and vegetable trade and vigorous safety policy guarantee the delivery of excellent quality products to customers.
Through the specific Piraeus Bank Contract Farming programme, the producer is provided with the required liquidity at highly competitive terms, exactly when he needs such liquidity, while payment of the production agreed to be delivered to the company is guaranteed.
The Program covers the entire crops production and supply chain by supporting, in an organised manner, the mutually beneficial collaboration between producers and the company.
This new collaboration attests to the firm will of Piraeus Bank to support and encourage any sound productive effort in this economy sector.
