Money Transfers and Remittances

Find out how easily you can transfer money to your or to a third party account, in Piraeus or to another Bank,via winbank web banking service.

Money transfer to my or to a third party account in Piraeus Bank

Step 1

Visit www.winbank.gr and select to log in as “Individual”.

Step 2

Enter your credentials in the corresponding field and log in to winbank web banking service.

Step 3

From the menu, select “Transfers” and then “Transfer Between my Accounts” if you want to carry out a money transfer from one of your accounts to another or “Third Party Transfer” if you want to transfer money to a third party account in Piraeus Bank.

Step 4

In this step, you have to select the account you want to be charged and the account you want to be credited (if you are transferring to a Third Party you fill in the beneficiary's account number by selecting "New Account" or you can find the account at the Aliases if you have already saved the Beneficiary's account in your Aliases List).
Then, fill in the amount you want to transfer and the reason. Finally, you have to select if you want the transfer to be executed promptly or on a predetermined date, as well as if and when you want it to be repeated. Click “NEXT”.

Step 5

On this screen, you have to confirm the transfer details to ensure that they are correct. If you want to change something click “BACK”, otherwise click “SUBMIT”.
If it concerns a transfer to a third party account in Piraeus Bank, you will receive on your mobile phone the extraPIN code by SMS. Enter the code in the corresponding field and click “NEXT”.

NOTE: If you have activated the notifications in winbank mobile application, you will receive the extraPIN code by push notification and the transaction will be completed by quick login.
Your transaction is completed. You can save or print the receipt by selecting the corresponding icons in the bottom left.

Money Transfer to my or to a third party account to other Bank / Remittance

Step 1

Visit www.winbank.gr and select to log in as “Individual”.

Step 2

Enter your credentials in the corresponding field and log in to winbank web banking service.

Step 3

From the menu, select “Transfers” and then “Transfer to Other Banks / Remittance”.

Step 4

In this step, you have to select which account you want to be charged. Then, by selecting “New Account”, enter the account number you want to be credited (or select from the aliases, if you have already added the account of the Beneficiary at your aliases list), the “Beneficiary Customer”, the country of the Beneficiary’s bank and the Bank of the Beneficiary/BIC. If you want, for your convenience, you can add the Beneficiary in your aliases list, so that the next time you need to carry out a remittance to this beneficiary, you don’t have to enter the details again. Then, select the currency, fill in the amount you want to transfer and, optionally, the information you want to be transferred to the beneficiary to recognize your payment. Select who will be charged with the expenses of the remittance and confirm your contact phone number.
Finally, select if you want the transfer to be executed with high or normal priority, the time of execution, and if and when you want it to be repeated. Then click “NEXT”.

Step 5

In this step, you have to confirm the remittance details to ensure that they are correct. If you want to change something, click “BACK”, otherwise click “SUBMIT”.
You will receive on your mobile phone the extraPIN code by SMS. Enter the code in the corresponding field and click “NEXT”.
