||The Jessica (Joint European Support for Sustainable Investment in City Areas) Programme is a European Commission initiative, developed in cooperation with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB). It supports sustainable urban development and regeneration through financial engineering mechanisms.
Piraeus Bank has undertaken to manage around €40 million in total. The resources stem from the Jessica Holding Fund Greece and will be allocated to finance urban development projects in the regions of Central Macedonia and Thessaly. Acting as an Urban Development Fund (UDF) for each of these regions, Piraeus Bank invites all interested parties to submit a proposal for project financing. The proposals can be submitted to the competent UDF, in line with the specifications in the following calls for selection.
