The "Emporikos" account enables you to cover both regular and emergency banking needs. You can automate your frequent business transactions through standing orders. It also offers a number of choices on how to manage your your transaction network. There is no limit on the banking transactions you can perform through the account.

The interest rate for the "Emporikos" account is tiered.

Interest is paid semi-annually, on 30 June and 31 December.

Interest rates are gross, annualized and may change according to the Piraeus Bank pricing policy. Tax rate of 15% applies. Tax is deducted and paid over to the Greek State.
