New goat milk Contract Livestock Breeding Agreement between Piraeus Bank and “Mpellas S.A.”

Piraeus Bank, in collaboration with “Mpellas S.A. - Vermion Cheese”, has initiated a new Contract Livestock Breeding Program intended for goat milk producers in the Prefectures of Imathia, Pella, Thessaloniki, Florina, Kastoria, Kilkis, Serres and Drama.

The funding proposal for milk Contract Livestock Breeding is essentially intended to help rationalize the organization and financially support the entire production process, from the producer to product processing and selling by the company.

Mpellas has an 80-year presence and operates an ultramodern plant of increased production capacity. The company has a wide distribution network, in order for “Mpellas” quality to be found in all refrigerators of big supermarkets as well as at small sales points in Greece and abroad.

The company currently disposes of great cheese products variety from goat milk as well as cow’s milk, in a wide range of packaging, so that all requirements of the final consumer are met. 

Through the Piraeus Bank Contract Livestock Breeding Program, the breeder is provided with the required liquidity at highly competitive terms, exactly when he needs such liquidity, while payment of the production agreed to be delivered to the company is guaranteed.  

The Program covers the entire crops production and supply chain by supporting, in an organized manner the mutually beneficial collaboration between breeders and the company. 

This new collaboration attests to the firm will of Piraeus Bank to support and encourage any sound productive effort in the economy sector.
