Deutsche Bank, one of the largest banks in the world clearing 30% of euro-based payments globally has awarded Piraeus Bank the ‘Straight-Through Processing (STP) Excellence Award’ for bank payments dispatched by it to every corner of the globe.

In an environment where the quality of information, speed, performance and fast response are factors of primary importance for completing a payment at international level, Piraeus Bank and its staff, as this award shows, have fully responded to these requirements. This has undoubtedly contributed to its name becoming firmly established as a bank with a strong presence in the modern European international payments landscape.

Piraeus Bank is the first Greek bank to have received this award from Deutsche Bank. The award was conferred on one bank only in each European country.
