Where can you find your IBAN Every account of yours is converted into its IBAN format and is communicated to you by your Bank. To find out the ΙΒΑΝ format of your account held with Piraeus Bank, you may refer to your bank statement or account passbook, ask any Bank branch, visit our website (www.piraeusbank.gr) or log in to our internet banking, winbank (www.winbank.gr).
What is the Bank Identifier Code (BIC) ΒΙC is a code that uniquely identifies a Bank anywhere in the world. The BIC of Piraeus Bank is PIRBGRAA, for its entire branch network in Greece.
How to use these new concepts The use of ΙΒΑΝ and BIC ensures low cost and straight through processing (STP) of your payment transaction. If you wish to transfer funds, you should inform us of the following: - For the countries mentioned above, the IBAN of the beneficiary and the BIC of his/her bank;
- For all other countries, the account number of the beneficiary and the BIC of his/her bank
For funds you expect from others, regardless of the country of origin, you should communicate to the orderer of the transfer, your IBAN account number and Piraeus Bank's BIC PIRBGRAA
